First Baptist Church Flood Relief Effort

-- Established "First Baptist Church Relief Fund"
    
- Monetary donations to allow FBC to respond to church family needs.
     - Checks can be made out and mailed to:

            First Baptist Church
            3300 Fairlawn Drive
            Columbus, IN 47203

            Designate "Flood Relief" on memo line of check.

-- Ongoing volunteer work
     - We continue to support families in Columbus with volunteer work teams.

    - The work now is focused in the following areas:
          - dry wall installation
          - electrical work and upgrades
          - painting
          - some exterior maintenance

     - FBC volunteers can indicate their availability through Lianne Wright, our volunteer coordinator.
          - Volunteers will also meet on Sunday mornings after worship to learn about opportunities for the coming week.
 

     - Outside groups from other churches are welcome to assist our teams.
          - Outside groups should contact the church office at 812-376-3321:
               - indicate the date they would like to help,
               - number of workers planning to help
               - skills they have to share.

       We can provide some evening worksite help in addition to weekday and Saturdays.

-- Volunteer registration
    
- Volunteers need to officially register to be part of the volunteer effort.
     - Please print out and complete the two page registration form listed below and return to the church office:

          Disaster Vounteer Registration Form

-- Donations
    
- Donations of furniture, clothes, cleaning supplies, food, etc.
            - May be made to local agencies
