This ministry involves a wide range of educational
programs and activities. The purpose of the ministry is to provide Christian growth
opportunities for all ages in a variety of traditional and creative ministries.

Church Family Ministry
Joe Hamon, Chairperson
This ministry area focuses on those areas, which relate to congregational family life.
Providing for the needs of the Church family and opportunities for fellowship and care is
a major assignment given by the Bible. Together, we are to share in fellowship, service,
and spiritual growth.

Evangelism Ministry
Ricardo Carvalho, Chairperson
We are called to extend the ministry of Christ to our
community as we share the gospel, minister to the needs of people and invite others to
experience Christ at First Baptist. This ministry includes visitation, communications
about the church, visitor follow-up, programs to introduce people to Christ and the
church, and decision counseling.

Mission Ministry
Liz Lipson, Chairperson
This ministry exists to promote and support mission
ministries of the church and those related to the church thought national and
international missions. This team will develop a mission budget, provide mission
education, and participate in mission projects. This team provides support for the ABW
ministries.

Stewardship Ministry
Paul Poe, Chairperson
This ministry shall have teams responsible for
financial stewardship, property stewardship and staff relations. Responsibilities include
the receipt and disbursement of the church money, the planning and supervision of an
annual budget and the maintaining of policies and procedures regarding church finances.
The property team shall supervise the stewardship of all church physical property
including acquisition and maintenance.

Worship Ministry
Jeannie Wheeler, Chairperson
This ministry is responsible for the regular and
special worship services and programs. The responsibilities for this ministry include all
areas related to regular congregational worship, special worship services and special
programs involving congregational worship.
