Life at FBC
First Baptist Church is an active and vibrant congregation. Our congregational life includes opportunities of spiritual growth and service for all ages. We believe discipleship is about coming to know Jesus Christ, becoming more like Him, and being sent in His name in service to others.
We invite you to consider how you might become part of life at First Baptist.
Cross Connections Fall Session Two Begins
There are approximately fifty days from All Saints Sunday to Christmas, and we are going to use six Wednesday evenings, during Cross Connections, to focus on "50 Days of Discovery" as part of our Faithful at 50 emphasis. The intent of these six sessions is to "discover" something we did not know, or may have forgotten, about an area of life and faith. Our topics are varied, but each holds great potential for discovery.
Three Keys to Faithful Stewardship
During the month of November we will be sharing a Stewardship emphasis titled: Three Keys to Faithful Stewarship: Abundance, Gratitude and Hospitality.
Trunk or Treat
Join us on Friday, Oct. 31st (Halloween) for "Trunk or Treat". Our parking lot will be lined with cars trunks and lift gates open, decorated and ready to share a treat, game or activity with the children of the neighborhood and community. Tilly the firetruck may make an appearance. Trunk or Treat hours are from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
