Cross Connections is our Wednesday night opportunity to connect for community and spiritual growth. Class sessions begin at 6 p.m. Some studies (but not all) will include an evenings fellowship meal which begins at 5:00 p.m. Cost is by donation and the menu varies from week to week.

Our Fall 2015 season began with a church-wide worship and study emphasis titled "50 Days of Transformation" which included a seven week small group opportunity.
On Wednesday, November 4th, American Baptist Missionary Kristy Engel was with us for a Fellowship Meal at 5 p.m. followed by a time of sharing at 6 p.m. Kristy is one of four missionary households that First Baptist supports through our Missions budget. We look forward to some time with her, hearing how God continues to use her gifts in mission.
A Bible study on the book of Ruth meets November 11, 18 and December 2, 9. This study is led by Pastor Cash and meets in the Chapel starting at 6 p.m.
Our Winter Learning Series focused on the topic: "Making Life Decisions - Part II." This four session series, was a follow up on last spring's part I, and featured the following topics:
How to Have Difficult Conversations (related to aging and life changes); Powerful Tools for the Care of the Caregiver; Elder Care Law & Finance Issues; and What you need to know about Fleacing & Other Scams.
The Winter Learning Series dates are: January 13, 20, 27 & Feb. 3. This series will include a 5 p.m. Fellowship Meal.
Our Lenten Study, which began Ash Wednesday, Feb. 10 is titled: "Who Is This Man?" and features a five-week DVD based study by John Ortberg.
A Spring Cross Connections Bible Study on I Thessalonians will meet April 6,13, 27 and May 4.
