Last Week of Kids Connection this Wednesday, May 15th

To wrap up our year, we are having a Pizza and Outdoor Water Games Party at the church.  We are asking the kids to bring their swimsuits and a towel with them to school.  Also, we will not be doing tutoring this week and we will be finishing early so please make arrangements for your child to be picked up by 5 PM.

Children

We offer excellent ministries for children at First Baptist Church.

Childcare is provided for infants during worship and the Sunday School hour in our church nursery.  (9:30 - 11:30 a.m.)

Children's Church is provided for toddlers, pre-school and children through grade 3 during worship.  Children participate in the early portion of our order of worship and are dismissed to Children's Church following a hymn or the Children's Message (9:45 - 10:30 a.m.)

Sunday school classes are offered for children of all age levels during our second hour (10:45 - 11:30 a.m.)

Kids Connection is our Wednesday after school children's ministry program (see the Kids Connection tab).

The core of what we teach our children centers on our church's "End In Mind" statements.  These EIM statements permeate our entire Christian Education program from pre schoolers through young adults.  The EIM statements reflect not only what we want our young people to know but what we want them to become.

End in Mind Statements

• God created me in His image.  
• God knows me completely and He wants me to know Him intimately.
• God loves me unconditionally.
• I can trust God no matter what happens.
• I will turn to Jesus and the Bible to help me make wise choices.
• By accepting Christ, He has saved me from my sin.
