Nellie McCalip Family Learning Center

Located on the lower level of the church, this library and resource center boasts approximately 2500 titles.  These include Christian novels of interest not only to men and women but also a substantial collection of children's books and videos.

Non-fiction titles are available on Bible study, prayer, marriage, parenting, devotions, the family and Christian living.  A number of biographies are also available.

The librarian is available to check materials in and out on Sundays, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., and on Wednesdays, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.

SEEDS of Love 5K

The SEEDS of Love 5K is drawing near.  There is still time to register and/or make a donation to Love Chapel.  Participants can register online or by printing and submitting the following form to the church office:  SEEDS of Love 5k 2014 Entry Form


Cross Connections

Our 2014-15 Cross Connections ministry began on Wednesday, August 20th.  Two six-week adult learning opportunities continue to meet during this first session of Cross Connections: The Daniel Plan and a Bible Study on I Corinthians, led by Pastor Dan Cash.  A weekly Fellowship Meal is offered at 5 p.m. (cost by donation) with adult education opportunities at 6 p.m.  Childcare is available for infants and toddlers - please call the church office (376-3321) to let us know if your child will be present.


Heritage Sunday

Sunday, October 12th promises to be a very special day at First Baptist as part of our "Faithful at 50" emphasis.  Two opportunities for worship will occur on this day as we gather at 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Our 9:30 a.m. service will feature former pastor Dr. Bill Griffith preaching, as we acknowledge the 50th Anniversary of Bill's ordination.  Bill
